Characteristics and inspection methods:

Appearance inspection or flaw detection inspection after dissection, the stoma has a smooth surface and a round shape.

Cause:

① The introduction direction of alloy liquid is unreasonable or the flow speed of metal liquid is too high, resulting in injection; ② Prematurely block the exhaust duct or frontal impact wall to form a vortex to wrap the air, which is mostly generated in poor exhaust or deep cavity; ③ Due to unclean furnace charge or high smelting temperature, more gas in metal liquid is not removed, precipitated during solidification, and cannot be fully discharged; ④ The coating has a large amount of gas or is used too much, before pouring, the casting is not completely poured, so that the gas is involved in the casting, and the gas is mostly dark gray surface; the high-speed switching point is wrong.

Processing method:

① Adopt clean furnace charge, control melting temperature and exhaust treatment; ② Select reasonable process parameters, injection speed and high-speed switching point; ③ Guide metal hydraulic pressure balance, orderly fill cavity, and facilitate gas exhaust; ④ Exhaust tank and overflow tank shall have sufficient exhaust capacity; ⑤ Select coating with small gas emission and control gas emission.
